19. Thermomix Veggie Slice Fingers

We created these Veggie Slice Fingers for The Party Collection of The 4 Blades magazine. They were featured in the section for Baby Finger Foods… nutritious, easy to hold and low in salt. In their simplest form (as pictured) these are simply eggs and vegetables. Of course, you can also add in ham / bacon / cheese and season with salt and pepper if you are serving them to adults.

You’ll be impressed how perfectly the vegetables cook in your thermo mixer! Just tender, not mushy at all. This is one of those simple recipes that you’ll be grateful for your thermo mixer!

Polly loves these Veggie Slice Fingers, and we featured them in the podcast all about her 1st birthday foods. We have done Baby Led Weaning with Polly, so she’s had finger foods from the beginning (actually, her first food was actually a lamb cutlet… when she didn’t have any teeth!)… but these are great in that they are firm enough not to be squished apart in little hands, but soft enough that they are easily broken apart.

20. Crispy Potato Bites

Now, these may take a little longer than you would think as they have to cool for at least 4 hours but they are worth the wait.

It’s important that you do let them cool though, if they were made any faster you wouldn’t eat anything else. Ever. Seriously though, they need to get really cold so that you can chop them up easily. They don’t have any flour or egg to bind them, so if you try to cut them up too soon you will likely get bits of mashed potato. As good as that could be, it’s not what you are after.

These Crispy Potato Bites are best served warm. You bite through the crispy outer and yummy potato-ey cheese-y goodness bursts into your mouth. We can understand that you may think we are exaggerating. You will have to try them to see for yourself!

This recipe was featured in Episode 101 of the podcast: Thermomix Footy Food. We also topped these with the Easy Mexican Beef to make… wait for it… Potatchos! Like nachos, but built on potatoes. You need to try!

24. Macadamia Lime Fudge

This fudge recipe has been receiving rave reviews in The 4 Blades Magazine Facebook Group so we decided… Merry Christmas! We will share it with everyone!

We love that it is so easy to make and only has five ingredients… yet so delicious!

It was originally created for The Gift Giving Collection of The 4 Blades Magazine, released December 2017. It has 50+ gift giving recipes inside that are GREAT for Christmas, but will also suit for homemade gift creation throughout the year.

26. Watermelon Lemonade

If you are looking for something refreshing, this watermelon lemonade is just perfect. With only watermelon, lemon and ice, it has the taste of an old fashioned lemonade, with a little something special from the watermelon. It’s great to make up, store in a jam jar with a tight fitting lid and take it with you in your packed lunch.

This recipe was also featured in Episode 131 of The 4 Blades podcast: Four Fabulous Thermomix Watermelon Recipes.
