Kids Thermomix Dinner Party Inspiration
In Episode 147, we have a VERY special guest. This week we’ve got our nephew Sam on board to help us put together a super cool kids Thermomix dinner party. Sam is almost 9 and he was involved with every step of this dinner party from planning to cooking to serving.

The challenge we wanted to tackle this week was to have a dinner party that kids will love, adults will devour and that kids can do themselves. Enter Super Sam!
Here’s the plan that Sam came up with:
Recipe 1 – Entree: Olive Hummus Dip with Home Made Grain Free Crackers.
First up we wanted to have something that people could enjoy as they arrived. So dip and crackers it was and who doesn’t love hummus?? Sam had the brilliant idea of crossing a hummus dip with an olive tapenade and the results were stellar.
We’ve featured the grain free crackers in The On The Road Issue of The 4 Blades Magazine. Bec and Peta did a Facebook live video explaining how to make them when Bec visited Peta in Canberra earlier this year.
Recipe 2 – Main: Sam’s Cheesy Surprise Burgers
The absolute star of the show (other than Sam) would have to be these Cheesy Surprise Burgers. The recipe for these burgers were developed by Sam and they were absolutely delicious. We love the burst of flavour the cheese mix brings and the cooking technique means these burgers are delicious and juicy. You have to give these bad boys a shot.
Recipe 3 – Dessert: Malteser Ice Cream Pie
Maltesers, ice cream, rice bubbles, chocolate…. need we say more??
This is such an easy dessert that is so achievable for kids and super impressive when it’s served. All of the guest won’t believe how clever the maker of this delicious pie is.
Tune in for Super Sam’s tips and tricks as we take you into our kitchen as we cook up a storm.
