Here are some cool tips from this podcast…
- How to de-seed a pomegranate (Thanks Jimmy O!) there are actually 3 different ways including one Thermomix method. Have a listen to the podcast hear us discuss the pro’s and cons of each method.
- In Alyce’s Christmas Salad, the red onion is soaked in white vinegar before use in the salad. This is a technique used by restaurant to reduce the harsh bite of the onion and it works beautifully.
- Instead of steaming beetroot in the Thermomix we used pre-cooked beetroot and it tasted excellent. (one less step for those of you who are busy busy busy).
- Tahini Paste recipe available in the Tea Party Issue of The 4 Blades Magazine
