Sometimes you just want a little bit of something sweet, right? Here are our Top Five 5 minute Thermomix dessert ideas for you to try. To be featured on this list they have to be able to be made with your Thermomix in 5 minutes (or less!) and they need to be completely delicious!
By the way, we recorded a podcast episode for you all about Thermomix desserts. Some of those ideas are “more than 5 minute” Thermomix desserts, but still worth your time, for sure! (At the bottom of this blog post you can find the show notes from Episode 77!) Click on the play button at the top or download this in iTunes or on Stitcher Radio (and don’t forget to leave a review – it really makes our day!
Top Five List of 5 Minute Thermomix Dessert Ideas
Number 1: Thermomix Cookies and Cream Mug Cake (5 Minutes!)
This is the ultimate quick indulgence on a cold night! So easy to prepare and ultra delicious to enjoy!
Number 2: No-Dairy Choc Nut Ice Cream (2 Minutes!)
Oh what a WIN it was to discover that our beloved Thermomix could also make ice-cream! Dairy-free ice-cream that actually tastes like ice-cream!!!
Number 3: Watermelon Sorbet (5 Minutes!)
Have you ever bought a whole watermelon and left it on the bench because you had no room in the fridge? If you don’t use them up, the watermelon goes bad and (uh oh!) it’s a stinky sticky mess. One thing you can do is chop up your watermelon and freeze it in 300g portions. Why 300g you ask? Well, we have found with ice and frozen fruit 300g is about the limit for the thermo before you are left with big chunks left whirring around the centre of the blades.
This is a super easy and fresh dessert or snack that you can whip up in no time with that frozen watermelon.
Number 4: Peanut Butter Mug Cake (5 Minutes!)
A delicious peanut butter dessert ready in only minutes! Serve with cream or chocolate sauce for that extra indulgent dessert!
Number 5: S’more Cones (5 Minutes!)
OK ok, so these take 5 minutes in the Thermomix to prepare the chocolate… PLUS the FUN you will have while toasting marshmallows. Can we count that fun in the prep time? Surely not! These are so cute, and (most importantly!) SO delicious.

Here is the short list of the best recipes featured in this Collection that we are loving right now.
Recipe 1 – Sticky Date Cheesecake (Peta has shared this one on TRTLMT for you to take a look at!)
What happens when you mix two Thermomix desserts taste sensations? This. Sticky Date Pudding meets delicious Cheesecake.
Here is the video that Peta talks about in the podcast:
Recipe 2 – Yummo Thermomix Apple Turnover Recipe (we have shared this on the blog for you to take a look at!)
This is a simple Apple Turnover recipe you can make with the help of your Thermomix.
Here are some cool tips from this podcast…
– when making a CHILLED cheesecake, it’s best not to use low fat dairy products
– don’t want to risk breaking a cheesecake by removing the paper from underneath? Chop the paper with scissors close to the edge of the cake and take the cake off as you cut the pieces. Especially when making a cake with sauce, like the cheesecake above, no one will ever know!
– One of our lovely contributors, Bianca from Wholefood Simply has given an awesome $10 off Wholefood Simply coupon within the desserts issue.
