Dairy-Free Choc Nut Ice-Cream in the Thermomix

Jul 25, 2013

Oh what a WIN it was to discover that our beloved Thermomix could also make ice-cream! Dairy-free ice-cream that actually tastes like ice-cream!!!

Super important step: freeze the coconut milk in ice cube trays well before you want to whip up this recipe. We just used coconut milk that we had made at home (check out Episode 5 of the podcast to learn how we did that!).

You can hear us talking more about this delicious no diary choc nut ice cream recipe in Episode 4 of the podcast.

This blended ice cream has such a lovely creamy consistency with the added crunchy texture from the nuts that you won’t believe it is made without dairy. With a great mix of ‘super food’ ingredients, it is a much more nutritious option than store bought ice cream!
