Description
In Episode 135 of the podcast, we share three delicious Thermomix ideas that utilise frozen food. We refer to these foods as the freezer loiterers. The foods that clog up your freezer. We’re talking frozen fish fillets, frozen berries, bananas, chicken. All the loiters that hang around in most family freezers.
The challenge for this week was to make delicious meals from these freezer loiterers, here’s what we came up with:
These are not a new idea by any stretch of the imagination. They are, however, a new idea in our house. Basically, if you regularly have a blended shake or breakfast bowl, fast track the process by putting all the ingredients into portioned bags at the beginning of the week. While it may seem easy to throw all your shake ingredients into the Thermomix each morning, brekkie bags will save you digging through the cupboards and fridge to find everything you need. Not to mention saving the fruit and veg that may go off! These Brekkie Bags are great to help you stay organised and make sure you’re energised for the day ahead. You can make a whole week’s worth in advance. We made a brekkie bag each and here are the results.
