Steak is a prime meal for BBQ season. With this simple garlic herb butter you can cook your steak to perfection – no sauce needed! Add a side salad and you have yourself a very tasty meal. Consider freezing the butter in portions to make your next meal even easier. Use any leftovers to make a delicious steak sandwich the next day.

Ingredients
- rib eye steaks – 4 x 200g
- olive oil – 30g
- pepper – pinch, black
- sea salt – pinch
- salad of choice – to serve
Garlic herb butter:
- garlic cloves – 2, peeled
- fresh parsley – 15g, curly leaf
- butter – 50g
- sea salt – pinch
- pepper – pinch, black
Instructions
- Heat your BBQ until hot.
- Rub the steaks (4) with oil (30g), pepper (pinch) and salt (pinch), and place onto a large plate.
- Put the garlic cloves (2) and parsley (15g) in the bowl. Blitz Speed 7 / 3 seconds. Scrape down sides.
- Add the butter (50g), sea salt (pinch) and pepper (pinch). Combine Speed 4 / 10 seconds. Transfer into a small bowl and set aside.
- When the BBQ is sizzling hot, cook your steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side until desired pinkness is achieved. Brush each steak with some butter and serve straight away with some salad.
